Brother Andrew wasn’t interested in God in his early life. In fact, when his family went to church, they assumed Andrew was in the back of the church, but really, he wasn’t in church at all. He would enjoy himself outdoors, and them immediately come back before the service was completed. Later in his life, He faced difficult experiences. Experiences that would make him look into reading a book that was foreign to him…the Bible.One day, Brother Andrew was saved from his sins, and was ready to live his life for Jesus. God had amazing plans for Brother Andrew, and these plans would change his life, and the lives of others in many different countries. Brother Andrew had a desire to bring God’s Word to others. Throughout this book, there are several trials and scary situations that Brother Andrew faced, but God lovingly guided him along the path He had set for him. This book is faith-building, eye-opening, and perfect for anyone who enjoys a little adventure mixed with a miraculous God-story.
Every person of faith should read this book. It would make you realize that we can depend on our Lord in all things. Amazing story, amazing life. I bought several to distribute to friends. When my husband read this book many years ago, it changed the direction of our lives. We had been out of work and were struggling with whether it was responsible to keep tithing, even though God had been providing for us. After reading this book, we were able to let go and let God provide, which He has done in a marvelous way, more than we could ask or think.
Brother Andrew's account reinforced how blessed we are when we are able to freely worship God, go to church, and obtain (and openly read) a Bible. Having lived in America all of my life, it is so easy to take those things for granted. When you read about the lengths that people will go to in order to obtain these things, it is a reminder that we should not take the ability to worship openly for granted.
The most amazing book and a great faith booster. To see how God worked in his life and all those he came into contact with is a breath of fresh air and confirmation of God's awesome sovereignty and goodness. We are using this book in our homeschool this year and we hate to put the book down.....absolutely recommend it to everyone; from those who doubt the Lord's existence to those who love Him intimately and dearly.

My favorite book. I listen to the audio version/ read it once a year. It is entertaining and gives a good, practical example of living out Christian faith.
